Working with Links
Creating Internet links in Weebly requires use of the linking tool located in the text menu bar. To add an external hyperlink, one that will take users to the Internet, follow these steps:
Example: http://libguides.ashland.edu/eduresearch
You may also use this process to link to pages within your web site, files you have uploaded, and email addresses.
- navigate to the page you want to link to from your web site
- copy the URL from the address bar
- return to your website and highlight the text you want to use as the link
(example http://libguides.ashland.edu/eduresearch) - with the text highlighted, select the create link icon in the editing bar
- choose website URL, paste your link in the box, hit enter on your keyboard
- highlighted text is now an Internet hyperlink to the Education LibGuide
Example: http://libguides.ashland.edu/eduresearch
You may also use this process to link to pages within your web site, files you have uploaded, and email addresses.

Publishing Your Page
When you publish your free Weebly page, it tells you it's published.
Your project URL is displayed directly below the Website Published! box. Copy the URL for submission to the module drop box, or use the icon next to your URL to open the site in a new window for viewing and copy the URL from the address bar.
>> Click the "x" and close the window. Your project has been successfully published.
Also detailed in this box is information regarding the availability of a custom domain using the user name you have chosen. This option costs money, do NOT investigate it further to complete your Electronic Portfolio project. Do not pay for using Weebly for this project. Close the box and continue.
